– Bread 4-5 slices
– Unsalted butter 50g
– Raisins 100g
– Icing sugar 50g
– Cinnamon powder 3g
– Lactel evaporated milk 450g
– Egg 150g (around 3 pieces)
– Icing sugar a little
Preheat oven to 180°C。Soak raisins in hot water for around 15 minutes, pat dry. Add icing sugar, and cinnamon powder, mix well.
Brush butter evenly onto baking dish.
Whisk the eggs, and mix gently with the evaporated milk.
Place the slices of bread with butter facing up, to fill up a layer. Pour mixture and raisins over. Add in another layer of bread, and pour rest of the mixture and raisins until it cover all the bread.
Set aside for around 20 minutes, giving the bread time to absorb the custard. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Drizzled with icing sugar, and serve hot.
